Baker Team Shootout - Sat. Oct. 29, 2011

Team Hot Shots repeated as Baker Shootout Tournament Champions by defeating Team Russ Freeman (Russ Freeman, Chris Colosimo, Pete Oliva, Andy Kohon, Adam Triggs) 2-0 in the best of 3 Championship Match to win the $1350 First Prize. Team Russ Freeman earned $750 for second. Team Russ Freeman defeated The Expendibles (Andy Donaldson, Don Widenhofer, Steve Goudreau, Jody Oles, Joe Marzec) 2-0 in the semi-final match to earn their spot in the finals. The Expendibles earned $450 for 3rd Place.

Thanks to all of the teams who bowled! We will see you at Spring Baker Shootout Saturday, March 31, 2012!

Baker Team Shootout VII - Saturday, March 12, 2011

Congratulations to The Hot Shots, winners of Baker Team Shootout VII. Team Hot Shots, Lake Zurich, IL (Russell DeCaluwe, Kathryn Saffold, Kyle Larson, Andy DeCaluwe, Andrew Loose) qualified fifth for the Bracket Finals and defeated Team Doughboy, Crystal Lake, IL who qualified second (T.A. Wierchke, Kay Stanish, Tim Wierschke, Jeff Stanish, Paul Bober) 247-224 and 240-208 to take home the $1500 first prize. Team Doughboy won $750 for second.

Fall Mixed Baker Doubles Tournament - Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010

Caryn Evitts, Waukegan, IL and Chris Colclasure, Grayslake, IL led from wire to wire to win the Mixed Baker Doubles tournament held at Raymond’s October 16th.and claim the $250 first prize. 16 doubles teams bowled 6 games of qualifying before cutting to the top 5 doubles teams for a stepladder final. All games were competed using the Baker Bowling Format where doubles partners bowled games together alternating frames. Chris and Caryn led qualifying with a 238.5 average for 6 games. Steve Greenspan, Buffalo Grove, IL and Jonquay Armon, Roselle, IL qualified 5th with a 213.3 average and climbed the stepladder winning their first 3 matches to meet Evitts and Colclasure in the final match. The final match came down to the 10th frame with Jonquay Armon needing a double in the 10th frame to seal the victory, but she missed on the 2nd ball to give Caryn and Chris the victory 238-228.

The team of Sofa King Good (Yuki Love, Alejandra Mora, Kristen Schopper, Anthony Biundo, and Tom Hays) defeated Good, Bad, Ugly (Dick Hildebrandt, Fred Zielinski, Gene Rigitano Sr., Gene Rigitano Jr., and Ken Szymura) 2-1 (215-181, 220-230, 271-201) in the championship match of the Baker Team Shootout VI. Sofa King Good earned $1550.00 for first place, and Good, Bad, Ugly earned $800.00 for second. Congratulations Sofa King Good!

Baker Shootout Team Tournament - March 29, 2009

Team Trinitie Wins Baker Shootout V
 

Team Trinitie (Trinitie May, Katie Watkins, Brian Banks, Nick Caruso Jr., Rick Rucker) defeated Team Wochner (Bob English, Ken Fischer, Shawn Wochner, Jeff Fischer, Steve Dinelli) 2-1 to take home the title and the $1220 first prize. In game one of the best out of three final match Team Wochner defeated Team Trinitie handily 258-207. However, splits and missed spares proved to be the undoing of Team Wochner in games 2 and 3 where Team Trinitie won both games 260–153 and 206-172. Team Wochner took home $610 for second place.

Baker Team Shootout IV results

LAKES BOWL’S TEAM GOUDREAU WINS BAKER SHOOTOUT IV

Lakes Bowl’s Team Goudreau (Brian Franas, Ben Sawall, Art Lozano, Steve Goudreau, Jack Chynowoth) took down the $1500 first prize at the Baker Shootout IV at Raymond’s Bowl in Johnsburg, IL on March 29th. Team Goudreau led the 16 game match play qualifying round with a 10-6 overall record and went on to defeat Midwest App. (Steve Paquet, John Smith, Ron Peake, Bill Lester, Skip Justice) in the final 2 games to 1. Midwest Appraisal earned $750 for second. Summit Plastics (Mike Moore, Rex McConnville, Len Miele, Brian Legnaioli, Gene Holst) rolled a Baker 300 game in game 12 of qualifying, but failed to make the bracket finals.
